-- GETTING MARRIED --
Please Join Us As We Make it Official
That's right, we're getting hitched! After 5 spectacular years together under the California sun, we're excited to head down south to North Carolina to celebrate our love with friends and family.
Let's all keep our fingers crossed for a few unseasonably warm, late-summer days and humidity-free autumn nights.
We want our wedding celebration to be full of love, laughing and having fun. That's why we're inviting our loved ones to join us for a weekend of adventure and merriment at the beautiful Camp Pinnacle in Hendersonville, North Carolina. We have the entire 260 acre campground, including the beautiful Wolf Lake all to ourselves for the weekend.
Our Guests are invited to join us on Friday night for a casual welcome dinner where we'll be grilling out by the lake, followed by s'mores and a sing-a-long around an open fire. Those staying at the camp will wake up to a simple country breakfast before heading down to the lake to work up an appetite for lunch.
We have a weekend full of activies leading up to the ceremony and reception on Saturday evening. All are welcome to stay at the camp but remember, it is rustic and we will be staying in cabin bunks. If you'd be more comfortable with heated bathroom floors and high thread count sheets, there is wonderful lodging available in Downtown Hendersonville, just five minutes from the wedding venue.

GETTING THERE
Flying to Camp
You're in luck. There are three accessible airports!
Asheville Airport (AVL) is only a 23 minute drive from camp. It is certainly the most convenient option, although it comes with a price bump. The increased flight cost may be offset by not renting a car, and simply taking a cab or car service from the airport straight to and from camp. You can reserve a town car from the airport to Hendersonville for approximately $60.
Greenville/Spartanburg (GSP) is a great low-stress airport and a Southwest Airlines destination. Much of the drive from the airport to camp is quite beautiful and it only takes about an hour. This airport is particularly good when flying in from Los Angeles and Chicago.
Charlotte Airport (CLT) is approximately a 1 hour and 45 minute drive from camp and the surrounding town of Flat Rock/Hendersonville NC. It is typically the most economical choice from New York, LA and San Francisco.
Driving to Camp
Ubers are available in Asheville, but it's hard to hail one from the camp. If you are coming in from out of town and staying off-site, you will probably need a car.
If you know you'll need a ride back to your hotel, make sure you book in advance with Checker Cab. Call: (828) 698-2324
Staying at CAmp
We have partnered with Camp Pinnacle to reserve a number of rustic cabins so you can stay right on site with us. The cost to reserve a bunk at camp is only $35.00 per night. The fees will ensure you have a twin-size bunk with bed linens and exclusive use of Camp Pinnacle during your stay. Meals will also be provided to campers spending the weekend with us.

GUEST INFORMATION
WEATHER AND TERRAIN
True Fact: Camp Pinnacle was built in 1928. Please expect uneven terrain, downed branches, slippery walkways, gravel paths, unmarked trails and ditches.
The average high for September in the Mountains is 74°, the average low is 55°. We're smack in the middle of hurricane season, there is always a chance of rain.
Rations
If you're staying at the camp, your bunk fees include dinner on Friday night and three square meals on Saturday. We're going to be quite active, and actively drinking. Pack some snacks.
We will provide bed linens including a fitted sheet, flat sheet and blanket. We recommend bringing a sleeping bag for extra warmth. September can get nippy at night.
Self-awareness is the key to success, bring a backup sixer if you think you'll need it.
What to Bring
Swimsuit, towels, flashlight, tennis shoes or hiking boots, jackets & other layered clothing, warm PJ's, water bottle, toiletry items, shower shoes, sunscreen, bug spray, musical instruments, umbrella (and a prayer you won't need it) extra blankets/sleeping bags, pillows, cooler & ice, snacks and Warmers/Gloves
What to Leave at Home
Fireworks, pets, drugs, glass and cigarettes*
*So listen guys, this is an active camp for children during the week. Any condemning evidence found the morning after our ceremony, including broken glass and/or cigarette butts will be grounds for us loosing our deposit. We're really rather spend that on an amazing honeymoon, so please pack a vape pen and a koozie for your cans. Leave all the other stuff at home, srrsly.
OUTSIDE THE CAMP
Things To Do in the Area
Downtown Hendersonville is full of quaint shops and eateries. Head here if you forget any of your essentials.
Historic Asheville is heaven on earth.
Great Asheville restaurants include: The Laughing Seed (for the vegan guest), Tupelo Honey (exquisite southern cuisine), 12 Bones Smokehouse (Keep calm & eat BBQ) and Jack of the Wood (usually has live blue grass goin' on).
There are 20+ Breweries to choose from. Most also serve food. Why not try to hit them all?
The Carl Sandburg House is in Flat Rock. It's a poetic destination with goats. Why not?
The Biltmore Estate is beautiful and you can probably try to crash someone else's wedding.
Outside Accommodations
We absolutely understand that rustic camping is not everyone's style. We're getting married in the peak of wedding season, please be sure to book before the end of July.
A fabulous option is the lovely Pinebrook Manor, just minutes from camp. Due to the season, we were not able to block rooms here. If you call and reserve promptly, you may be able to book a room. For reservations at Pinebrook Manor call: 1-828-698-2707
Houses and cabins can also be rented for the weekend through VRBO or AirBnB
